My name is Kylee Cole, and I am the owner of KyThePhotoLens Photography. I am currently based in Portland, Maine, but I am from a small town in western Massachusetts. I moved to Maine in 2016 for college and fell in love with having the beach in my backyard, so I never looked back! I completed graduate school in 2023 with my Masters of Occupational Therapy.
I started taking portraits when I was still in high school for my friends who needed them done for the senior yearbook, but could not afford to pay a professional. I was happy to help them out while gaining experience and starting to grow a portfolio. After three years of high school senior portraits, I captured and edited my college graduation in 2020 with my childhood best friend. Since then, I have photographed graduations, professional resume portraits, beloved pets, and families.
Growing up, it was rare to see my parents without a camera in their hands. Although we are all self taught, years of experience have been a great tool in advancing our hobby of photography. Getting more experienced recently in Photoshop Lightroom has been a joy of mine, and I look forward to capturing more memories in the future!
